He completed his internship and residency at USC and LAC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

 

In clinical practice, Dr. Naim encompasses all aspects of gastroenterology, focusing on detecting colon polyps and removing advanced polyps using endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). Furthermore, he treats bleeding disorders, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), SIBO, and IBD. He also manages complications of GERD, including Barret’s esophagus. 

 

Dr. Naim has contributed to research and has been publicized in the fields of rectal cancer and autoimmune diseases, among others. He has been distinguished for his high adenoma detection rate in colonoscopy screening and takes pride in his thorough and systematic approach to endoscopy and colonoscopy.

In his spare time, Dr. Naim enjoys cooking, gardening, playing sports, and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English and Farsi and is conversational in Spanish.
