Jim Amerian, MD

Dr. Jim Amerian is a Los Angeles native. He has been in private practice as a gastroenterologist for over 30 years. Dr. Amerian did his undergraduate work at the University of Southern California, graduating with a degree in mathematics. He received his Medical Degree at New York Medical College. Additionally, he completed his residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Los County-USC Medical Center. He then went on to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center as well.

Dr. Amerian is a general gastroenterologist and treats conditions such as heartburn/GERD, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal bleeding. He also performs upper endoscopies and colonoscopies, including screening colonoscopies. Dr. Amerian sees patients ages 17 and older.
